Flor de Cuba offers a delightful dining experience with its delicious food, excellent service, and inviting atmosphere. We tried the Bandeja Guajira, which was more than enough to share--generous portions that left us fully satisfied. All the frituras were fantastic, but the standout for me was the empanada de guayaba y queso. Its perfect balance of sweet and savory made it an unforgettable treat. Highly recommend!

Excellente !

Drove 1 hour to get to this restaurant and wow was it worth it. Greeted with a smile. Clean and spacious. Food was amazing. My husband and I had ropa vieja, moro, yuca, chicken milanesa and tostones rellenos. Then a flan for dessert. We didn't have any alcoholic drinks and We didn't stay for the DJ which started at 7:30pm but we asked if we can take a Quick Look in the back where they have a live bands, bar, dance floor and plenty of tables. $10 cover charge. We will definitely come back again. Thank you flor de Cuba!

Wow! This place is special! My wife and I had the pleasure to try this restaurant through takeout for the first time and we are sold. The food was so fresh and so tasty you could tell they use quality meat. The skirt steak was some of the best I've had, I will ask for grilled onions next time the oxtails were out of this world. This is the first time I've ordered oxtails and boy I'm sorry I've been under a rock. This place did an amazing job making them so tender and oh so flavorful. We can't wait to dine in this establishment this weekend. Great job y'all.

This is one of the best Cuban restaurants you can eat at home in Houston. A friend took me here about 5-6 years ago when they were at another location that had a small buffet and this visit was no different (except there is no longer a buffet). The dishes are simple yet still complex at the same time and almost hard to describe. The ropa vieja tasted as it was cooked straight out of someone's kitchen alongside the black beans and rice and tostones which were crisp yet tender. I wish the tamal had more meat but I think traditionally it has more maíz anyways. They also have a bakery with fresh desserts and bread. I'll be back in the future for a dessert and Cuban sandwich!

Amazing service. Great authentic real home town Cuban food. Black beans vaca frita (shredded steak) , masa frita (pork) like pastor but better, chicken Al ajillo (garlic and onion) amazing and so flavorful. Live salsa merengue dance baile music música en vivo Friday and Saturday.

We had lunch with friends today at the Flor de Cuba. We order drinks like batido milk shake, café con leche (latte) and water. We try the fried chicken and breast chicken with black beans and rain. The food was delicious and service was friendly and excellent. Here is a place that you will find in Miami. Good place to have lunch at a reasonable price.

I don't eat at Cuban restaurants often, but I should probably start going more regularly!! I ordered the Ropa vieja, and the beef was more on the tougher side, but it was still really good, and I enjoyed eating it with my side of fried yucca sticks and plantain. My dad got the grilled red snapper which was delightful, but what I loved the most about his plate was the boiled yucca. I am a fried yucca fan, but after yesterday, I can confidently say that I am a boiled yucca fan as well. It was amazing, especially with that garlic sauce. Also, did I mention, the service was great, and our food literally came out less than 5 minutes after ordering. Awesome. Lastly, the dessert was heavenly. We ordered the tres leches and dulce de leche cheesecake. The cheesecake was so yummy, not too overly sweet or heavy. I enjoyed every bite of it.

The food was very authentic Cuban. The environment was clean and friendly. The service was good and quick. The only issue was the dessert. I'll have to try something else next time. Looking forward to another visit.
